Article Processing Charges (APC) and Review Fee Policy

Starting manuscripts for possible publication of Volume 7(2) August 2026, SAGA Journal will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) and Review Fee policy.

The APC for Indonesian authors is IDR 1,500,081 per accepted article.

For international authors (i.e., manuscripts where all authors are affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia), the APC is USD 70 per accepted article.

In addition, the journal will introduce a review fee.
Each submitted manuscript is required to pay a review fee as a commitment from the authors to proceed through the peer review process until a final editorial decision is reached.

The review fee is structured as follows:

Indonesian authors: IDR 150,081 per submission
Mixed authorship (Indonesian and international authors): IDR 150,081 per submission
International authors: USD 10 per submission

The review fee is non-refundable, regardless of the editorial decision.

Proofreading Fee
In some cases, articles that have the potential to be accepted for publication but still require improvement in terms of language may be granted CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE. Authors will be required to pay a proofreading fee to the Language Training Center (Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa) UKDW at a discounted rate of IDR 1,000,000 per conditionally accepted article (flat rate).
